Today, FosTecH is proud to include veterans and dedicated civilians on our team. Our ownership consists of two retired career firefighters and an Air Force veteran. FosTecH began in 2011 when Judd Foster and his wife, Sophi, transformed their shared passion for firearms into a business. Their vision was born around the kitchen table, where countless conversations sparked the idea of turning a personal hobby into a thriving enterprise. Sophi has been an integral part of FosTecH from the beginning, personally investing in the day-to-day operations of the company. David Foster, Judd’s closest cousin, was the first to share Judd’s passion for the firearms business. In the early days, Judd and David purchased and experimented with their first firearm accessories.
In 2013, Judd and David approached David’s brother, Mark Foster, about manufacturing uniquely designed accessories. This pivotal moment brought together a trifecta of skill sets that laid the foundation for FosTecH’s growth. Judd contributed broad vision, sales, and marketing experience; David brought innovative engineering, design expertise, and machining skills; and Mark added industrial engineering, production machining, and materials manufacturing knowledge. This early partnership evolved FosTecH from a sales and marketing-focused business to a boutique manufacturer of its own products.

This early partnership evolved FosTecH from a sales and marketing-focused business to a boutique manufacturer of its own products.As FosTecH grew, the partnership expanded from three to five family members. Paul and Todd Foster joined as investors and contributors, strengthening the company’s foundation for future growth. Mark, Paul, and David are brothers and first cousins to Judd and Todd. Todd brought extensive sales and marketing expertise, while Paul added significant experience in business ownership, financial management, and real estate investment. Together, these five first cousins formed a solid foundation for FosTecH’s continued success.
In 2021, FosTecH faced the heartbreaking loss of Judd to an untimely illness. He is deeply missed. Since this loss, Sophi and Todd stepped away from FosTecH but remain valued members of the FosTecH family.
