Safety
Firearms can cause serious injury, death, and property damage. A FosTecH firearm equipped with a genuine Rare Breed Triggers, Inc. (“RBT”) FRT® requires careful handling, familiarity with its operation, and strict compliance with all firearm-safety rules. Do not rely on any mechanical feature as a substitute for safe firearm handling. Safe handling is your responsibility at all times—before, during, and after every use.
Factory Configuration and Operation
This firearm is sold with a genuine RBT FRT® installed, timed, and function-tested by FosTecH in its factory configuration. When installed in that factory configuration, the FRT® is a semiautomatic fire-control component designed to fire one round for each function of the trigger.
The bolt carrier mechanically resets the trigger after each shot, permitting a rapid semiautomatic rate of fire. Before loading or firing the firearm, the user must understand its specific operation, including the Safe, Semi, and FRT® selector positions, if equipped. Improper use or misunderstanding of the firearm or trigger can result in an unintentional or negligent discharge, serious injury, death, or property damage.
Federal, State, and Local Legal Compliance
Under current federal law and ATF’s June 2025 settlement notice concerning genuine Rare Breed FRT-15® triggers, a genuine Rare Breed FRT-15® in its intended configuration is not a “machinegun” under federal law. This statement does not apply to modified products, non-genuine products, other trigger designs, or a firearm altered from its factory configuration.
State and local laws may independently restrict or prohibit the possession, sale, transfer, transportation, or use of FRT-equipped firearms or trigger-activating devices. Firearm configuration—including barrel length, overall configuration, and classification under applicable law—may affect whether possession, transport, or use is lawful. You are solely responsible for confirming compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws before purchase, receipt, possession, transport, use, or transfer. FosTecH will not ship a factory FRT-equipped firearm to a jurisdiction where it is prohibited.
Modification and Transfer
Do not alter the trigger, selector, bolt carrier, buffer system, receiver, or related fire-control components except through FosTecH or a qualified gunsmith using components approved for this firearm. Alterations, substitution of parts, or tuning may impair safe operation, void applicable warranty coverage, and affect the firearm’s legal classification.
Any sale, gift, loan, shipment, or other transfer of this firearm must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Do not transfer the firearm or its FRT® component to a person whom you know or reasonably should know is prohibited from possessing it under applicable law.
